Sustainable Energy Education and Development Support

Formed in 2008, SEEDS is a community-based, not for profit organization in Northeastern Pennsylvania committed to developing a local, renewable energy infrastructure and promoting more sustainable living in our area. In addition to Wayne Businesses Conserve! SEEDS is managing the 350 kWh Saved! initiative in NEPA, setting the goal of encouraging and helping 350 local residents save 350 kWh on their electric bills this year, as well as installing 350 kW of renewable solar and wind units in NEPA.  

Workforce Wayne

Workforce Wayne is a non-profit organization with a mission to create a more effective workforce delivery system through developing career opportunities; strengthening the skills of the workforce; and supporting lifelong learning in Wayne and Pike Counties. The initiative is innovative in nature- calling for collaboration, communication, and cooperation of many "non-traditional" workforce entities- and regional in that it encompasses the entire county and includes regional partners.
